Margaret Estrada

Margaret Estrada, 87, entered into rest on May 10, 2018 in Manteca. She was born on July 20, 1930 in Mitchell, Nebraska. In heaven she joins her parents and her husband of 52 years Johnny Estrada and her daughters Patricia Monte and Debbie Castillo.  

She leaves behind her children, Johnny Estrada Jr. (Sylvia) of Fresno, Ernie Estrada (Doreena) of Manteca, Joey Estrada (Debbie) of Modesto, Charles Estrada (Gianna) of Manteca, Helen Urbina (Arnold) of Manteca, Fernando Estrada (Ashely) of Singapore and son- in-law Phil Monte. She was blessed with 28 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. In addition she leaves siblings,  Inez Rodrigues, Paula Estep, Blas Torres, Josephine (   ) and Richard  Torres.

Margaret was a Manteca resident but was originally from Santa Maria. She was a member of Crossroads Grace Communty Church where she loved their Sunday service. She enjoyed visiting with friends and watching Spanish soap operas “novelas” and an exciting Giants game. She loved her family dearly and was so proud of all the growing generations. Margaret loved bringing her family together especially for barbeques and holidays. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother she will be deeply missed.
