Maria C. Gonzales

Maria C. Gonzales, 97, entered into rest surrounded by her loving family on March 20th, 2023 in Manteca. She leaves behind her loving son Raymond Gonzales and his wife Sue Gonzales of Manteca. In addition she was blessed with three grandchildren, Ryan Gonzales and wife Stacey, Trisha Gonzales and Aaron Gonzales.

Maria was a native of New Mexico before making her way to Northern California where she met her husband Ruben. Ruben and Maria met in Oakland at a dance and remain together until his passing. She worked throughout the years for a canary and would then become a successful hairdresser. Maria was kind and gentle. She had a nurturing spirit about her and made everyone feel at home. She loved having her family together and looked forward to having them visit. She had an immaculate garden and was ever so proud of all her beautiful blooms. Maria loved her son dearly he was  the apple of her eye. She will be remembered as an amazing mother, grandmother and friend.  She will be deeply missed    

A chapel service and visitation will be held in her honor on Tuesday, March 29, 2023 | Viewing from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00pm Service at 2pm at P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca, CA. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, CA 95620.on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 1:15pm
