Mary Freitas, born on January 30, 1945 in Portugal, entered into rest on June 8, 2022 in Manteca, Ca. She was a resident of Manteca for over 40 years.Ms. Freitas is survived by her two children; Joanne Freitas and John Freitas (Tiffany). She was blessed by 11 grandchildren; Jessica, Gregory, Samantha, Timothy, Jeremy, Danielle, Joshua, Jennifer, Nick, Jessica and Justin and 14 great-grandchildren. In addition, Mary has one surviving brother Melvin Dutra.

Mary was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family and helping others. She loved making daily phone calls to family and friends, catching up with birthdays, events and their wellbeing’s. Mary was good-natured with a caring heart. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.   

P.L. Fry & Son is honored to be serving the Freitas family. A service will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 11:00 am at P.L. Fry and Son Chapel 290 N. Union Rd. Manteca. Burial will be at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery 17871 S. Carrolton Rd. Escalon, Ca.
