Milagros D. Catambay, died in her home surrounded by her five children and close family on the 19th of February 2018 at the age of 72.  Milagros, youngest child of the late Luis & Esperanza Dikitanan was a native of Cebu City, Philippines and a long-time resident of the Bay Area. She is survived by her five children (Marmi, Escel, Celeste, Omicel, and Charisse), two son-in-law (Rodrigo and Shawn), daughter-in-law (Ly-Ann), 9 grandchildren (Bradley, Benjamin, Braeden, Shane, Brent, Kiana, Sophia, Julianna, and Isabella), 3 siblings (Ito, Fe, and Efren), several nieces, and nephews.  Milagros graduated “Magna Cum Laude” from the University of San Carlos in Cebu City with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce. She was a respected Certified Professional Accountant in Manila before moving to America in search for a brighter future for her family.  She worked long hours to support her five children through school and college.  Beautiful child of God, courageous, strong-willed, loyal, generous, funny, kind-hearted, and a true fashionista, Milagros loved to shop, take pictures, travel and see new places. She cherished shopping sprees, eating out, camping, amusement parks, and day trips with her family, friends, and co-workers.  Visitation will be held at the P.L. Fry & Son Chapel 290 N. Union Rd, Manteca, CA on February 27th 1pm-5:30pm followed by a rosary at  4:00pm.  Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 28th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Presentation 6715 Leesburg Pl, Stockton, Ca. She will be laid to rest at a later date at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hayward, Ca.
