Born on February 20, 1933 in Mexico, Ofelia Anaya, 86, entered into rest on April 18, 2019 in French Camp, Ca. She is preceded in death by her beloved son Johnny Anaya.
Mrs. Anaya is survived by her loving family; husband of 73 years; Antonio Anaya, children; Lupe Anaya, Tony Anaya Jr., Jenny Hernandez, Gracie Marlow, Mary Valdivia, Erma Claros and Lucy Olvera. She was blessed by 24 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren. In addition, Ofelia is survived by her four siblings; Angelina Medina, Maria Elena Cerna, Estolia Cerna and Lupe Alvarez.
Ofelia was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. She was a devout Catholic where she prayed continually for her family and loved to sing and praise God daily for her blessings. Faith and family was most important to Ofelia, teaching the children and grandchildren scriptures and prayers brought her the upmost joy. Ofelia always had an optimistic outlook on life, as she would always see the best in everyone she met. Ofelia will be remembered for her fantastic cooking, her funny spirit and her kind heart. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
