She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines. For 20+ years, Perlita worked as an auditor for the US Navy in the Philippines. She continued the rest of her 19-year career as a Level 3-Office Assistant at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto.
Lita (to her friends and colleagues) found absolute happiness in everything that she chose to do with the people that she cared for the most. Whether it was playing with her family dogs, cooking for her family, gardening, taking a trip to the casino, sewing, or crocheting, everyone experienced her love and affection by just being around her. She expressed her genuine love through the food she prepared, garden she tended (if orchids could only speak) and garments she made.
The family was everything to her. She truly cherished being surrounded by everyone she loved, her husband, her siblings, and her children. Perlita especially found joy in spoiling every single one of her grandchildren and fur grandkids.
Perlita will continue to be loved and deeply missed by her family and those who knew her. Although reserved and private, everyone will remember her warmth, kindness, love, care, and generosity. She was the epitome of selflessness. The family she leaves behind will continue to carry memories of her beautiful and vibrant life in their hearts and minds.
She is gone but will forever live in everyone’s memories and hearts.
