Rachel Mendoza

Rachel Mendoza, 84, entered into rest on her birthday November 4, 2021. She was born in 1937 in Porterville, Ca. to the late Gregorio and Mary Mejorado. She is preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband Sammy Mendoza, daughter-in-law Carol Mendoza, son-in-law Michael Kinlaw, son-in-law Robert Hofman and brother Daniel Mejorado and baby brother Moses Mejorado  .

Mrs. Mendoza is survived by her loving family; children Diamond Kinlaw, Molly Hofman, Louise Warmerdam (Rick), Johnny Mendoza, Genevieve Braley (Larry) and Sammy Mendoza (Leticia), brother Alex Mejorado (Gainell), 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Rachel was a lifetime resident of Manteca. She enjoyed trips to Tahoe and Reno, collecting rocks and dancing. Rachel was a spunky lady she loved getting all “dolled up” especially when going out with her daughters and granddaughters dancing. She appreciated a great margarita and was a wonderful cook. She was her happiest when spending quality time with her family; she loved them unconditionally.   Rachel will be remembered as the queen of her family, a devoted mother, grandmother and sister. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

P.L. Fry & Son is honored to be serving the Mendoza family. Celebration of life will be on Thursday November 18, 2021 at 10:00 am at Calvary Community Church 815 W Lathrop Rd, Manteca, Ca.
