He was born on January 3, 1932 in Oakland, California to the Late Joseph and Mae Quaresma. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Darlene Fry-Quaresma. He was blessed with five children: Raelene Minaudo (John), Diane Hedegard (Tom), Raymond Quaresma (Sue), Richard Quaresma (Sarah) all of Manteca, CA and Daryll Quaresma (Di) of Ripon, CA.  Raymond had 14 grandchildren: Shaundra Minaudo and Randy Clough, John Minaudo and Leah Nyberg, Denae Minaudo, Thomas  Hedegard (Janelle), Tara Schlecht (Adam), Tori Hedegard, Katelyn, Raeanne and Delaine Quaresma, Darian Lanting (Jonathon), Devanee Faure (Scott), Joseph, Jillian and Sophia Quaresma. He is also survived by five Great Grandchildren: Torin, Riley, Brett, Ellie and Walker.

Raymond attended Veritas Grammar School and later graduated from Manteca High School in 1952 where he was very active in FFA and agriculture. There he met the love of his life, and wife of 63 years, Darlene Fry. They married in 1954. He took his passion for agriculture to his family farm where he worked for many years. It was there that he worked tirelessly to provide love and support for his wife and family. When he was not outside, he played an active role as a 4-H beef leader, Nile Garden Community Club Member, and served on the Stanislaus Irrigation Board.
