Richard “Dick” Kendall, 93, entered into rest on December 25, 2019 in Manteca, Ca. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska on July 1, 1926. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Sheila Kendall.
A resident of both Tracy and Manteca, Mr. Kendall was a WWII veteran where he proudly served through the United States Navy. After his service, Richard received his Master’s degree in Engineering where he worked for Chevron Oil Company for over 40 years. He was a member and past president the California Horseman Association and the founded of the Tracy Historical Society. He enjoyed sports, horseback riding and had a deep love for animals. Richard will be remembered for his warm demeanor and his giving spirit.
P.L. Fry and Son is honored to be serving the Kendall family. A service will be on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. held at P.L. Fry and Son Chapel 290 N. Union Rd. Manteca, Ca. He will be laid to rest with his beloved wife (at a later date) at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Santa Nella, Ca.
