Richard Steglik was born to John Sr. and Eugenia Steglik on November 18, 1938 in Rossford, Ohio. He entered into rest on November 15, 2022 in Manteca, Ca. He was 83.

Richard proudly served his country through the United States Army from 1961-1963 at Fort Knox, Kentucky. He returned home to Ohio and worked for the Libbey Owens Ford Company – Rossford, Ohio Plant and in 1964 he moved from Ohio to Manteca, Ca where he worked for the Libbey Owens Ford Company – Lathrop, Ca Plant as an industrial electrician for over 25 years. Before retirement, Richard also worked for General Mills in Lodi, Ca for over 13 years. He was a long time member of the Place of Refuge Church, Manteca, Ca (formally known as 1st Assembly of God). Richard loved the thrill of fast cars. His first date with his wife Lois was racing his corvette and the rest was history. They were married for 60 years. He enjoyed watching WWE wrestling and tinkering in his garage. Richard was a social man, he commonly checked on his friends and neighbors and lent a helping hand wherever and whenever was needed.

Mr. Steglik is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings John Steglik Jr. and Virginia Endsley. He is survived by his wife Lois Steglik, children Cynthia Stymans (Scott), Michael Steglik (Yvonne) and David Konesky who was like a son to him. He was blessed by 2 grandsons, Andrew Stymans and Killian Steglik and godson Shawn Endsley. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Richard will be remembered for his good natured humor, his generosity, his willingness to help those in need and as a spiritual man who truly believed in the motto of God, family, country.
