Robert Silva passed away on July 26, 2022 in Manteca, California. He was born on November 26, 1951 to the late Jose and Anita. He spent his final day doing what he loved, taking his grandchildren to lunch and ending the day watching the ball game. Robert leaves behind the love of his life, Bobbie; his children Sara, Johnny, Monica, Michael, Melissa, and James; his grandchildren Joshua,Marrysa, Jynessa, Juliet, Jade (Boy), Christian, Angelina, Elissa, Micaela, Dominic, Maxwell, Elijah and Kyle; and two great-grandchildren, Arya and Jullian. He joins his dear grandson Noah, in Heaven.

Robert’s happiness began with his family. Every year he spent the beginning of April at the Coliseum, watching his beloved A’s ring in the new season. He found peace with a Coors light in hand, surrounded by his grandchildren listening to the excitement of a full home. Robert proudly served in the United States Army 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment.

Robert was a charming man, who could get along with anyone. Everyone was welcome in his home and his heart. He was Robert to some, Bob to most and a Papa to anyone who needed one. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 1pm at 290 N. Union Road, Manteca, CA.
