Tribute
Robert James Sitzmann “Bob” entered Heaven on November 23, 2022. He was born on September 21,1943 to parents Victor Sitzmann and Mildred Anne Cronin Sitzmann of Lemars, Iowa. He was number four of 13 children.
Bob married Barbara Dicus and had one daughter Robin Sitzmann of Nebraska in 1964. After their divorce, he enlisted into the United States Navy in February 1965 and was a soldier until February 1971. In 1974, Bob then married Sharon Davis of Hayward, Ca and gained a step-daughter Tammi Furtado. Robert and Sharon had one son, Mathew Sitzmann in March of 1977.
Bob worked as a repairman in the Bay Area and moved his family to Tracy Ca. in 1983. Shortly after moving to the valley, Bob became a Deputy Sherriff, graduating from the academy in 1986.
Bob looked forward to his weekly Sunday calls from his daughter Robin and his weekly lunch dates with his daughter Tammi to his favorite Mexican restaurant. He cherished his special times he spent with his Son Matt who passed away in April of 2017.
Robert is survived by his daughter: Robin Sitzmann of South Sioux City, Nebraska and daughter Tammi Furtado Kittrell of Manteca, Ca. former wife and friend Sharon Sitzmann of Lathrop, Ca.

Dean Sitzmann of Lincoln, NE., Maureen Sitzmann of Sgt Bluff, IA., Mary Sitzmann of Sioux City, IA.,Jon Sitzmann of Sgt. Bluff, IA.,Jayne Sitzmann of DesMoines, IA., grandchildren: Tristan Denker, Shalane Denker and Mandi Denker Stingley all of South Sioux City, Nebraska. Eva Sitzmann, Victor Sitzmann and Michael DuChene all of Lathrop, Ca. and Ashlee Furtado of Roseville, Ca., great grandchildren: Tayleigh Denker of South Sioux City, Nebraska and Braylon Ubbinga of Homer NE., Keelyn Jones, Peyton Jones and Preston Jones all of Roseville, Ca.
He is preceded in death by his son; Mathew Sitzmann parents: Victor and Mildred Sitzmann, siblings: Ellen Sitzmann, Anne Sitzmann and Barbara Sitzmann.
Bob will forever be loved and missed.
