Born in Tracy, California on March 23, 1962, Robert Soares, 60, entered into rest in Modesto, California on July 13, 2022. He was a lifetime resident of Modesto, recently moving to Manteca.

Mr. Soares is survived by his wife of 29 years Kathleen Soares, sons Scott and Eric Soares, and one sister Melissa Crocker.

Robert attended Modesto High School, graduating in 1980. He was in sales for over 40 years with Howk Systems. Robert was exceptionally social; he enjoyed great conversation and spending time with family and friends. Robert was very giving of his time, enjoying volunteering for his sons' sports teams and would always help a friend in need. Robert could fix anything and was a talented cook. In high school, he was very active in Modesto FFA, achieving his State Farmer Degree and was a member of the 1980 State Champion Parliamentary Procedure team. Robert went on to coach the Grace Davis FFA Parliamentary Procedure team, who won several state championships under Robert’s guidance. 

Robert will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, and a loyal friend. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
