Ronald Allan Bernaldo of Lathrop CA, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, February 29, 2020; he was only 48 years old.

Ronald was born on October 4, 1971 in Quezon City, Philippines and migrated to Stockton, CA in the late 1980’s with his parents and two younger brothers. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1989 and attended college at San Joaquin Delta College in, Stockton, CA.  After receiving his Associates Degree from San Joaquin Delta College, Ronald started working as a press operator and junior graphic designer for various graphic design companies in the Stockton and Sacramento area. Ronald was a Graphic Designer at Raley’s until settling at Safeway in Pleasanton, CA as a Senior Graphics Designer for over 12 years. After marrying his devout wife, Nacine, in 2005, they moved to Lathrop, CA in 2007. Ronald was on the Kidney Transplant Waitlist and had been going through dialysis for two years prior to his passing.

Ronald will always be remembered for his contagious smile and very caring and selfless demeanor. He was the second father to many of his nieces and nephews and will be greatly missed by all of them.

He is survived by his wife Nacine Bernaldo of Lathrop, CA, brother Mike Bernaldo of Manteca, CA, brother Arnel Bernaldo, sister-in-law Diane Bernaldo, nieces Alyssa Bernaldo, Denise Bernaldo and nephew Andrew Bernaldo of Lathrop, CA and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family from northern California, Nevada and the Philippines.  

He is preceded in death by his parents Santos Bernaldo and Flordeliza Bernaldo of Stockton, CA.
