Tribute

Moschetti, Ronald Anthony

July 6th, 1941 - May 2nd 2018

Ronald Anthony Moschetti, 76, of Terrebonne Oregon passed away unexpectedly on May 2nd.
He was born in Oakland, California to the late Anthony (Tony) and Virginia Moschetti on July 6th 1941. Ron was also preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Moschetti Zenz.

Mr. Moschetti is survived by his longtime companion Donna Heran, son Chris Moschetti, daughter Vicki Moschetti, son-in-law Chris Johnson, step-daughter Jennifer Queirolo, step-son Angelo Queirolo, his sister Toni-Marie DeRosier, brother-in-law Bruce DeRosier, nephews Daniel and David Dattke. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; Joey Beauchamp, Erika Zenz, Loginn Johnson, Quinci Bryan, and Matthew Johnson and 2 great grandchildren; Aubrey Johnson and Malakai Beauchamp.

In his early years Ron worked for Kellogg in California, and then moved his young family to Bend, Oregon to join his parents and extended family. For the next ten years he worked at the Brooks-Scanlon mill and family enterprises. He later became a general contractor in Central California, and also pursued his life-long passion with automobiles. Then he rounded out his working career as an Independent Contractor with Phillip Morris.

Ron loved his sister’s cooking and family gatherings, where he totally enjoyed a good glass of wine and a good cigar with his nephews Danny and David Dattke, and son-in-law Chris Johnson. He loved his family both close and extended. Every year he looked forward to attending the Italian Festival in Reno where many family members gather yearly to reminisce about parents, grandparents and “mi familia” in total. Ron loved everything Italian and was a true Paisan!

Ron had a gift for making friends wherever he went, and always kept in touch. He loved traveling, especially in the Redwoods with Donna. He truly loved working in his yard at his home in Terrebonne, Oregon, and helping others, who he always thought of before himself. He had a big heart that always had room for one more.

Ron left a legacy of love and caring and will be dearly missed by so many people he touched.
He was one of a kind.
