Roy Albert Yost

Roy Albert Yost was born on September 15th, 1944, in Kansas City, Missouri to Mother and Father Verna and Arthur Yost. He departed this life 3 days before his 77th birthday on Sunday, September 12th, 2021, in Ripon, California.

Roy and family, originally from Missouri, moved to Manteca in the early 70s and resided in Ripon for the past 28 years.  He retired from the Manteca Unified School District as their Supervisor of Transportation and Warehousing.  Roy enjoyed the outdoor life, Camping and a lot of Fishing with family and friends and simply sitting outside enjoying the fresh air.  

Roy lives on through adored wife, Helen Yost, who he married on June 14, 1968, also leaves behind his children, Babette Bowen of Ripon, Wade Yost and wife Theresa Yost of Virginia, and Tish Foster and husband Alan Foster of Ripon, and his sister Sharon Davis of Oak Grove Missouri.   He was blessed with nine grandchildren: Katrina Godbey, Kyle Cozad, Sarah Quintal, Brittany Quintal, Brian Yost, Jake Yost, Katie Trump, Travis Foster and Kayley Foster and 13 Great Grandchildren. 

He loved his family dearly and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.  He will be deeply missed.

P.L. Fry and Son is honored to serve the Yost family. Services will be held on October 12th, 2021, in Ripon at Heartland Community Church at 11a.m located 510 W. Main St and a Celebration of Life will be held in Ripon immediately after at The Veterans of Foreign Wars located 12455 W Ripon Rd.
