Rudy Scott Whiteley

Rudy “Scott” Whiteley continued his life of faith when he went to meet his Lord Jesus Christ on April 30, 2018. He was born on March 31, 1939, in Venice, California, to the late Rudolph and Ethel Whiteley.
Scott was preceded in death by his son, Brian Whiteley. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Lizabeth (Faye) Whiteley; children, Wes (Liz) Whiteley of Napa, CA, Kim Caudel of Washington, and Lisa Gibson of Manteca, CA; and sister, Betty Geiszler of Lodi, CA. Mr. Whiteley was blessed with grandchildren, Erik (Kendra) Colter of Carson City, NV, Renee Whiteley of Florida, Justin (Catie) Whiteley of WA, Cody Smith of NV, Robert Caudel of WA, Dan (Lauren) Caudel of Utah, Tanicia Whiteley of NV, Jody (Erika) Gibson of Manteca, CA, and Anderson Whiteley of Manteca, CA, as well as 21 great-grandchildren.
He was a farmer for over 57 years, and also worked for the UC Davis Ag Department in Stockton, CA. Scott loved his family, friends and his church. He will be greatly missed by all.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. at P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca with burial to follow at Park View Cemetery, 3661 French Camp Rd., Manteca. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Richland Faith Assembly of God Church, 1201 Richland Ave., Modesto, CA, 95351 or the charity of choice.
