Shirley A. Hodson

Shirley Ann Hodson passed away on July 19, 2020. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Harold. They were blessed with three daughters: Lisa (Rick) Harvel of Idaho, Kelli (Rick) DeBoard of Jackson and Terri (Bob) Rocha of Escalon. She had three grandchildren: Wesley (Kristy) Harvel of Utah, Jennifer Harvel also of Idaho and Matthew (Grace) Rocha of Escalon. She had six great-grandchildren: Zoey, Oaklyn, Miles, Ryan, Avery and Ellie. She is survived by her sister, Rose Stackpole. She is preceded in death by her sister Anna Howze.

Shirley was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and was a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul and St. Dominic’s Hospital. Shirley enjoyed antique shopping and traveling with her daughters and grandchildren. She could never pass up a good meal from McDonald’s and was a self-proclaimed “Chocoholic.” She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved her family deeply. She will be greatly missed.
