Reverend Simplicio T. Granado Jr. went to be with the Lord on February 07, 2021. He leaves behind his loving wife Luz and his two children Shema (Michael) Roldan and Shechem. He was blessed with a granddaughter Maicah Jeshryll and a grandson Matthew Jace. Simplicio was the second child of the nine children: Danilo Granado, Charito Granado, Diosdado Granado, Loreto Ortiz, Consuelo Barcellano, Carayo Leal, Carmelo Pelagio, and Dioscoro Granado of Simplicio Granado Sr. and Faustina Tuliao.

Simplicio T. Granado Jr. finished his Masters of Divinity at Union Theological Seminary, Philippine Christian University Cavite, Philippines. He was a former District Superintendent of the United Methodist Church in Cagayan Philippines Northern Philippine Annual Conference. He was a Pastor of the United Methodist Church in the Philippines for 22 years. He came to United States on June 08, 2000 to serve as a Pastor of St. Philip’s Presbyterian Church in Salinas, California. Simplicio was member of Sanchez Mira Masonic Lodge 233, Sanchez Mira, Cagayan, Philippines and also a member of the Sierra Madre Legionarios del Trabajo of Salinas, California.

He loved cooking and eating delicious meals. He also enjoyed gardening and fishing. Simplicio was a God serving man who was always smiling, extremely generous, and selfless.
