Stephanie Morissa Devilbiss

Stephanie Morissa Devilbiss passed away November 14, 2018 in Manteca. She was born in San Jose, California on August 29, 1956. Stephanie was a resident of Manteca for 34 years. She is survived by her two daughters; Andrea Burgos and Ciara Burgos of Manteca, her step-father; Bud Regelin of Sonora, step-mother; Lynda Sackett of Indio, three sisters; Kim Dickson of Grants Pass Oregon, Kelly Sackett of Palm Desert, and Karen Morrison of Indio,  three brothers; Scott Regelin of Tuttle Town, Jay Regelin of Modesto, and Juan Davis of Athens, Tennessee. In addition, Stephanie was blessed by three beautiful grandchildren whom she adored; Faith Burgos, Athena Nolasco, and Anthony Nolasco III, all of Manteca. 

Stephanie had a great passion for knowledge and truly enjoyed being a Student. She attained a Master’s Degree in Psychology from Grand Canyon University. She was in the Doctoral program at GCU and was working on her final dissertation before her passing. Before going back to attain her degrees, Stephanie had a career as a Real Estate Agent and Home Loan Officer in Manteca.

Stephanie had a heart of gold. She was always a willing Ear for her loved ones, offering guidance and wisdom with the deepest of sincerity.

She was a lover of all genres of music especially R&B, and the Blues. She sang beautifully and enjoyed performing for family and the many friends that she had acquired through music from different areas of the world.

Stephanie loved a good laugh. She had a quick wit and wonderful sense of humor, leaving many stories and inside jokes for her family and friends to smile and look back on. Although Stephanie was very bright, humorous, and musically talented; it was her compassionate and loyal heart that her loved ones will always remember.

Stephanie is proceeded in death by her Husband Todd Devilbiss, Mother Betty Regelin, Father Mel Sackett and eldest Sister Deborah Burgos-Mercer.
