Teodoro Flores, 90, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 in Manteca, Ca. He was born on September 15, 1930 in Hidalgo, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Santos Flores, wife of 70 years Elva Flores, children Juan Flores and Sylvia Weaver. 

Mr. Flores is survived by his beloved family; children, Celia Cuddie, Ludivina Flores, Joe Flores, Mary Ayala, Teodoro Flores Jr. and Elva Towner. He was blessed by 29 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Teodoro was a laborer by trade and worked in construction for over 30 years before retiring. He played baseball in the Mexican league for several years where he was known as “ El Zurdo”. He was a resident of Manteca for over 20 years and while living in the Bay Area he was a member of St. Justin Church and the Guadalupe Society. Teodoro loved a great meal, enjoyed Giants baseball, Dallas Cowboys football and tending to his garden. Teodoro will be remembered for his strong work ethics, his witty sense of humor and his huge loving heart. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him. 

P.L. Fry and Son is honored to be serving the Flores family. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 3:00 pm to 6pm followed by a rosary/vigil at 6pm both held at P.L. Fry and Son 290 N. Union Rd. Manteca, Ca. Mass will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 9:30 am at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church 19399 E. Hwy 120 Ripon, Ca. He will be laid to rest at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery.
