Timothy R Smith, 35, of Concord, CA passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022.
Tim is survived by his parents, Richard D Smith, Jr of Manteca, CA and Tammy J Metrovich (Michael) of Stockton, CA, brothers Travis Metrovich, Union City and Mark Metrovich, Santa Barbara and sister, Megan Metrovich, Los Angeles, grandmother Laura Smith, Manteca, CA and Beverly Brown (Bill) Gadsden, AL. Tim is also survived by aunts and uncles, Lohrie Smith Pardue (Robert), Susan Smith, Mary Ellen Zidich, Brian Eubanks, Leonard Eubanks, Peitra Wivell, Louis Rivara, and Michael Zidich. His cousins Cyndi Zidich, Jon Zidich, Peter Zidich, Alison Zidich, Steven Stone, Leslie Lowe and husband Josh, Natasha Branwen, Kenneth Pardue, Alicia Wivell-Walton (Moe), Jack Wivell and Jon Wivell. He will be forever missed by his true love, Kasey Maureen Coffey.
He was preceded in death by grandfather, Leonard Timothy Eubanks, grandfather Richard D Smith, grandparents, John and Patricia Metrovich and great aunt, Endis Litchfield.
Tim had an intense love of music. He was in several small-town bands where he played guitar, bass, drums, ukulele, and of course vocals. He spent many hours writing songs, recording vocals and playing any instrument he could get his hands on including the ukulele, drums, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, kalimba. In addition Tim was a talented pianist.
An avid Oakland Raider and Athletics fan, Tim loved spending time with his family attending games and cheering on his teams; win or lose. He was known for his “whistle” when his team scored a touchdown. He was a fun-loving soul with a wonderful sense of humor and a heart of gold. He enjoyed nature with Kasey at his favorite Lake Tahoe or Yosemite spots.
