Tina Courant was born on November 30, 1952 in Richmond, California and reunited with her husband, Bill in Heaven on November 12, 2020. Tina is preceded in death by her parents Virginia and Ollo Shook. Tina leaves behind her three children, Bill (Amanda) Courant of Ohio, John (Andrea) Courant of San Ramon and Susie (Shane) Turpin of Manteca. She was blessed with five grandchildren: William III, Brooklyn, Jake, Kaytlyn and Shane, Jr. She is survived by her sister, Sue (Fred) Benavidez of Turlock and was preceded in death by her sister Toni Baptista and brother Steve Shook.

Tina and Bill were married for 25 years before he passed away suddenly. Together they raised three children and had the house where all their friends would gather to hang out with Tina. She was the “cool” mom and cared deeply about other people, especially the children she cared for during the day as their school bus driver. She loved her job and taking care of the kids.  Tina loved scary movies, fishing, camping, playing Bingo, horse racing but above all else she loved family get togethers and spending time with her grandchildren and watching their sporting events. Tina is going to be deeply missed by her family and friends.
