Virginia De Luca

Virginia (Gina) De Luca, 58, passed away unexpectedly on December 26, 2019. She is survived by her loving husband, James De Luca of Manteca, and her children Brett, Kristi and Erika Gorrebeeck of Livermore as well as Jim’s two sons, James Edward De Luca (Christina) of Modesto and Michael De Luca of Modesto. She was blessed with 2 grandchildren, Austin James and Joseph who she adored. She was the youngest of her 5 siblings, Gordon, Tim, Susan Bagley (David), David and Wayne.

At an early age, Virginia earned the nickname “Mouse.” This was due to the fact that she loved cheese so much! More than she loved cheese, she also loved camping and spending time at San Mateo Memorial Park with her family and friends. She was a competitive person who enjoyed family games. Gina was a long time Day Care Provider and became a surrogate “Mother” or “Grandmother” to most of the kids who came into her life. She had the biggest heart and gave everything she had to those around her. She loved being a mother to her children and a wife to Jim. She is going to be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A viewing will be held on Saturday January 18, 2019 from 10am to Noon, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at Noon at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home.
