Arnold Tumacder Guillermo passed away peacefully at his home in Manteca on July 10, 2014, after a short illness.  He was 48 years old.
He was born in the town of San Nicolas in the Philippines on August 5, 1965 and came to America on July 9, 1979.
He was a graduate of East Union High School in Manteca (Class of 1985) where he excelled in power lifting for which he earned the nickname, Little Arnold Schwarzenegger.  He was also on the Lancers’ track and field team.
He will be remembered fondly by family and friends as a devoted father to his two children, and someone who was always there to help anyone in need.  In addition to power lifting, he was an avid cook and a conscientious recycler.  He enjoyed drawing, dabbled in carpentry which primarily involved home-improvement projects, and loved to tell jokes which always made him the life of the party.
Arnold leaves behind his beloved son Geoffrey and his precious daughter Krystal, seven siblings: twins Mirabel Ibea and Madeline Guillermo of Stockton, Alex Guillermo of Cerritos, Nita Coloma of Lathrop, Ella Guillermo of Acoba, Joel Guillermo and Nerie Joya all of Stockton; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Emilio and Rosalia Guillermo.
Viewing will be on Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 1pm to 7pm followed by the Prayer of the Rosary from 7pm to 9pm at PL Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 18, 2014 at 11am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 505 E.
