Beverly Jean Laffranchi, 80, entered into rest on July 12, 2014 in Modesto, Ca. She was born on November 4, 1933 in French Camp, Ca. to the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred and Violet Elliott. She joins her parents in heaven as well as her husband Alex Laffranchi.
Ms. Laffranchi is survived by her two children; Ron Laffranchi and Renee Silva (Pete). She was blessed by two grandchildren Nicole Galan and Ryan Silva. She adored her five great-grandchildren; Georgie, Natalia, Nalahana, Ryan Jr. and Camden.
Beverly was a Manteca resident and graduated from Manteca High School in 1950. She retired from Contel Phone Company after 30 years of service as a telephone operator. Beverly loved the finer things in life such as, shopping, shopping and more shopping. Her favorite time of year was Christmas. During the holiday season she enjoyed cooking, baking and of course shopping for all of her family, friends and acquaintances. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and friends; as their favorite destination was Dollywood, Tennessee. She looked forward to her Wednesday routine with her close friends Sandy and Julie traveling to Jackson weekly; hoping to hit the “Big One.” Above all Beverly cherished her family; they were her everything. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, and a wonderful grandmother. She will be deeply missed.
