Jonathan Justice Loon, 19, born to Jon and Raquel Loon on July 10, 1998 at St. Rose Hospital in Hayward, Ca passed away on October 15, 2017. He is survived by his siblings; Ricardo Hernandez-Delao, Felix Hernandez-Delao and Isabela Loon. He adored his two nephews and niece; Felix Hernandez Jr., Ricky Hernandez and Aniyah Hernandez. In addition Johnathan is survived by his paternal grandparents: Eugene & Anita Loon and his maternal grandparents: Felix and Jessie Villalovos.

As a child Jonathan was a good natured boy who loved giving hugs. He showed athletic abilities at a very young age and excelled in all sports, loving mainly basketball and football. He was recognized for his athletic abilities, receiving a scholarship to attend Central Catholic High School to play football, Jonathan excelled both as a defensive and an offensive player. Jonathan was patient as he loved to teach his younger sister Isa how to play various sports; he was also playful where he loved being an uncle to his nephews and niece. He had a passion for cooking, poetry and writing rap music. He was a huge Oakland Raiders fan where he loved hanging out with friends watching the game. Family was important to Jonathan; he took pride in being a great brother, nephew, uncle and most importantly an amazing son. At a young age Jonathan experienced his first love, who was his best friend and no matter where their lives might have taken them they always found a way back to each other, Nini Mora was a great influence and she meant a great deal to him.

In 2014 Jonathan overcame one of his biggest obstacles where he has hit by a car leaving him with life threatening injuries. Being Partially disabled  Jonathan maintained a positive attitude to move forward finishing school, getting his driver’s license working with Fathers & Family where he eventually wanted to become a counselor; counseling troubled youth. While with Fathers & Family Jonathan spoke at the state capital influencing a bill that would seal juvenile records, allowing young men and woman with a past to have another chance at life, this bill recently passed in 2017.
