Loretta Pastorello White (Kane), 78, peacefully entered into rest on June 4, 2017 in Stockton, CA. She was born on November 1, 1938 in Chicago, IL. She is preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Darol White and together they are now reunited with The Lord.  .

Loretta leaves behind two daughters, Dawn Troncale (Tony) and Dara Unterholzner (Steve); three grandchildren; Michael, Lia and Daniel Unterholzner and one sister; Carolyn Kane.

After being in a Chicago beauty pageant, she had a short modeling career before marrying and moving to San Francisco in 1959 and a few years later she became a Mother and lived in San Jose for fifteen years. Gilroy was her home for 28 years before moving to Manteca twelve years ago to be closer to her two loving daughters.   She was very proud of her three grandchildren and happy to have seen them grown up.  Her passion for 50+ years was raising and showing German Shepherd Dogs; owning and/or breeding multiple champions.  Loretta not only loved the breed but gave many hours to her local specialty clubs as a show chair and a ring steward assisting the judges.  On Sundays she liked visiting with fellow parishioners after service at Saint Anthony’s (Manteca) and Saint Mary’s (Gilroy). She was continuously active in the Republican Community groups beginning in her early years in San Francisco through the later years living in San Joaquin County. Loretta will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother sister and friend, she will be deeply missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in her name and honor to The German Shepherd Dog Club of America Charitable Trust, 4035 Prado de la Mariposa, Calabasas, CA 91302 https://gsdca.org/join-the-gsdca/gsdca-trust
