Richard, for some reason, I was thinking about you and Vicki then decided to look on internet, and found this. I’m so sorry it took so long to reach out. We were stationed together in USMC long ago, had a blast together, then like most vets, went our separate ways. Sounds like you had a great presence, does not surprise me since you were such a great friend, marine and person. Cannot believe how time vanishes before our eyes. RIP brother.

It's been three years, but it's not a happy anniversary. You are loved and missed more than you would ever believe. Your spirit lives on in your children and grandchildren. You can be proud of Vicki, she is trying so hard to be strong and to honor you and the life you made together. Love you always.

It's been 31 days since you left and the void is still palpable. We find comfort knowing you are no longer suffering but it doesn't make missing you any easier. I'm keeping the promise I made and will continue to do so until I see you again.

You don't know me but I would like to offer my sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. God holds out a wonderful promise to all of us. A world free from death and sadness - a Paradise. The Bible scripture at Revelation 21:3,4 says - "And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more. Neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Imagine - never having to grieve or mourn again! We can depend on this promise because it is from God's word the Bible. I hope this offers some comfort during this difficult time.

My deepest sympathy to Ricks family and friends. I knew Rick since he started PG&E in Cupertino and our paths crossed again years later in Stockton. He would always ask me about my family and then he would proceed to talk proudly about his. He was definitely taken from this earth too soon, he will be missed.

You are one of the most loved person I know. For the last 27 years you have been part of my family and I am deeply saddened not to have you here with us anymore. We have watched our children grow up, been to weddings birthday parties and countless other events. I want you to know you are one of the few men that I truly love and will miss. Thank you so much for your friendship and your example of compassion and kindness. I hope your next adventure in heaven will meet you with open arms and give you the same love we all received from you. I will miss you like you are my brother and hope to see you when I get there.
May your family on earth have the same peace you have in Heaven. Heaven is a better place now that you have arrived. You now get to look over your earthly family and watch your boys be the men you and Vickie raised. You will never be forgotten and all our memories of you will brighten our days as if you walked in the room.
Thank you for coming into my life you made me a better man and as you know that is hard to do.
LOVE YOU Rick.... see you in the next life...
